This is a wonderful antique sterling silver box. Made in Austria about 1910. The box is sterling silver with beautiful pale green guilloche enamel (engine turned design) on the top and sides. The center has a fantastic watercolor miniature of Columbus' Land...ing (we believe), it is signed in lower right corner Vale. The corners are capped with chased rococo elements. The interior marked sterling silver with Austrian hallmark and made in Austria. We believe this was made for the American market. Very good condition, no damage or repair. Length of box 4 3/4 inches by 4 inches wide , by 1 1/4 high.Total weight is 16.42 oz troy.We ship once payment has cleared our BUSINESS account (2-3 days).Buyers must pay by law CT sales tax unless buyers has current resale certificate.International shipping higher than domestic.We ship worldwide with full insurance and tracking.
