vintage lamson & goodnow carbon steel chef knife antique kitchen. blade is not purple as shows in picture, it just caught the flash wierd. this knife was prob made 1900-1930.. lamson logo still visible on blade. all three rivets are solid. bolstered blade is 8" long, handle is 5". it appears that the blade was bent at one time and straightened so its not perfect but still very usable. blade and handle show typical wear for a knife of this age but it's still got a lifetime of use le...ft in it, and it was made by one of the oldest cutlery manufacturers in the country, still in existence and making knives in massachusetts. great functional historical piece.
