Vintage Vogue Blonde Transitional Ginny Doll In 1952 " Donna " Outfit

This listing features a lovely strung early transitional Vogue Ginny doll from 1950 to 1952. She is a gorgeous, and I believe rare, example of the pale bisque plastic used for the face and body of these transitional years. Her platinum blonde side part wig is just beautiful . Her eyes are so very pretty with the typical two-toned eyes-in this case sky blue rimmed with dark blue. Her lashes and brows are nicely defined, but there is a tinge of green in them.
Ginny's... strung body is in excellent shape with even color. Her arms hold poses well.
She is wearing the "Donna"outfit from 1952, #22 in the Kindergarten series, which consists of a cotton dress and matching pants with a blue fern print. There are two blue felt "buttons" on the bodice, but the dress closure is a back hook and eye. There is a small hole that doesn't show much on the front because it is in a fold. There are a couple of pink marks on the back of the dress- too light to show in the picture.. The matching panties are in great condition. She also wears white vintage socks and leatherette center -snap shoes.
