Antique Book Set The Bookshelf For Boys And Girls. Published 1955. Antique set of 9 volumes of decorative red and gold hardcover books "BOYS' AND GIRLS' BOOKSHELF". I can't begin to describe how wonderful the content of these books is. Wonderful full book plate illustrations. These Books are an absolutely beautiful collection of literature for kids - poems, illustrated stories, nature, outdoor play, bible stories, Fun and so much more. Some are color illustrations and some are black an...d white. Such a wonderful collection to have in your library to read to your kids. There is so much content, parents/kids are sure to enjoy these for a very long time. All books are in decent condition. The bindings show wear as seen in the pictures. The pages show wear consistent with age, stains, yellowing, a few loose pages and a few tears.
