Here's a 120-year-old Edison Projecting Kinetoscope. The crank is a period replacement, but the projector is otherwise original throughout, and it's in working order. The projector comes with its original Bausch & Lomb lens and its original wood cover.
Condition is excellent throughout. No damage to the casting, no damage to the gears, no damage to the wood case. Rotary shutter is working properly, gears and sprocket pins move fluidly as the crank is turned. Nice original paint everywhere, original finish on the wood housing. The lens is complete and in good shape, though I'm sure it could use cleaning.
As noted above, the crank is a replacement. It appears to be a period crank, but it's clearly homemade or otherwise improvised.
Cover has its original leather carrying handle, which is not damaged. All latches and clasps are original, and they're all working.
Please look at the pictures and consider them an integral part of the description.
With the cover in place and the lens extended, the projector measures 15" high by 9" wide by 9" deep. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be approximately 35 lb.
