What immediately stood out to me about this W.O. Larsen is the gorgeous birdseye! To celebrate 130 years since their start as a Tobacconist in 1864, they released this special limited edition pipe in 1994 and it is incredible. A straight Apple, it's a lovely shape and the briar shows amazing birdseye and cross grain in a warm reddish finish. The shank tapers slightly in the middle and has a sterling silver/925 band with inscriptions. The stem has an awesome cut to it, a rectangular sha...pe that is saddle. A beautiful W.O. Larsen special edition from 1994, not to be missed!
