Fish decoys by old time Minnesota maker gust Lind are very collectible. Early examples of his work like this one are very difficult to find. It dates to 1940 or earlier and is 6" long. The decoy is painted black and white. It shows excellent patina and normal paint loss. The gold paint on the underside of the fins is not original but still very old. Gust Lind fish decoys are featured in collector reference books and are very collectible. Most of his decoys are painted in red and white ...so Lind decoys that are painted in other colors are especially prized.
