This item’s detail description lists below: Condition – This delicate brush holderwas carefully inspected before listing; it is in great condition. Except someshallow chips on the base... due to ages (no impact to the balance, it standsfirmly on the surface), other than that I have found no damage, or repair. DistinguishCharacteristics – Oxblood Flambé Glaze as base, the detailpainting of phoenix and peony reveals an aroma of blessing and celebration. Sang de boeuf, (French: “oxblood”) also called flambé glaze, a glossy, rich, blood red glaze oftenslashed with streaks of purple or turquoise used to decorate pottery, particularly porcelain. The effect is produced by a method of firing thatincorporates copper, a method first discovered by the Chinese of the Ming dynasty. Measurements– The brush holder measuresapproximately 6¼" tall, 3¾" between its widest points, 3½"diameter opening at the top, and base. The weight is 1 lb. 14 oz. Payment – PayPal is preference.
