Antique Chinese Silk Embroidery with Gold Thread: Dictionary Bookwrap 1918
The front cover of this Webster's Dictionary, which was published in 1918 is of Chinese embroidered silk, which is in about Good condition with aigns of wear and some loose threads, as shown. The back cover iswrapped in a kind of speckled Gold pattern (May also be silk, but not sure) in EX condition. The spine is in what appears to be black felt and is also EX. The book is well bound, complete and in EX condi...tion.
The book measures 6 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches. 1918 is either the late Qing or early Chinese Republic period.
