Gold gilted bordering on spine and titling on front board with gold gilted bordering on both boards. Some wear and scuffing of leather on spine and board edges, but nice overall. Tightly bound volume. External joints strong and tight. Spine caps/bottoms in nice condition. Board edges and corners in nice condition, but with some wear. Board turn-ins nicely rolled in a gold gilted design. Pages in nice condition with some foxing/browning but predominantly bright, crisp and clear. Original binding is bound into volume as the preliminary and ending pages. Internal hinges strong and tight --- Very Nice. Text block strong and tight. Illustrated with 11 illustrations, including frontispiece. Free of bookplates. FINE LEATHER BINDING.
