DESCRIPTION: This is a genuine vintage Madame Alexander "Cissy" label doll dress. Made for the 20-21" Madame Alexander Cissy doll. The dress is a white cotton with blue polka dots. It is accented with a blue cummerbund at the waist and a blue bow at the back waist. Also accented with beautiful lace sleeves. The lace looks hand made and is three-dimensional. Just beautiful. Full gathered skirt with wide hem. Snap back closure. The Madame A...lexander "Cissy" label is sewn into the back skirt seam. The condition is excellent vintage condition. Dress is clean. Colors are bright. No holes or tears that I could find. One snap on the back has been replaced and is slightly larger than the rest. There is some very, very faint yellowing at places on the hem edge (may be very light stains). I tried to photograph, but failed -- too faint to get a picture. In most lighting I cannot even see it, but want you to know it is there. Be sure to check out my other auctions. I am selling a Madame Alexander doll that would be lovely in this beautiful dress.
