Akai GX-747dBX reel to reel player recorder. This units was sold to me back in my Active Duty Air Force days (late 90's), it was purchased in Japan at an Air Force BX and has been kept in good shape. It hasn't been played in a while but last check, it played and operated well. I have not tried to record so I cannot confirm that function. The record/play heads are very good/clean, being a reel to reel from 1982, this unit is in great shape and the best of it's kind back in it's days wit...h dBx noise reduction. The unit weighs 52lbs, so shipping will be expensive, the cover itself will have to be shipped separately to avoid being cracked. It only comes with one reel.Serious inquiries only please, I'm open to offers, but if you low ball like your buying from thrift store, I will let you know. Thanks for checking this listing out.
