Offered for your consideration is this vintage Japanese Porcelain Lusterware Miniature Child's Tea Set. The set is hand painted and decorated with a snow or Christmas scene. Made back in the 1950's era the set consists of 25 pieces and is complete excluding the sugar lid. It has 6 cups & saucers, 6 bread plates, a covered casserole , serving platter, teapot & lid and the creamer and sugar bowl. The set is in beautiful shape with one small chip on one bread plate (see ...images) and some vintage white paint loss mostly on the saucers and minimal vintage wear. The teapot is 3 1/2" tall with the top on, bread plates 3 7/8" in diameter, saucers 3 7/16" in diameter, cup & saucer 1 3/8" tall, tureen is 4 3/4" wide and stands 2 1/2" tall, serving platter 6 1/4" long and the creamer and sugar are appox. 1 3/4" tall. It has a golden high gloss Lusterware finish and has been in storage for many years. A lovely set with a very desirable scene!
