This auction is for a beautiful is for a simply gorgeous 1953 strung Alexander-kins. She comes wearing her early organdy snap panties, socks and fuzzy bottom side snap shoes, all in excellent condition. The doll has a beautiful original tosca triple stitched wig that is shiny, tight to the head, and has lots of curls. Her facial coloring is all original with no touch-ups. There is one little pin dot brown spot on the right cheek that you can zoom in and see. Her eyes flutter easily. I ...did restring her because the original rubber band stringing had deteriorated. Her chest has a few very faint bluish marks, perhaps from something she wore in the past. Of course this would never be seen when the doll is dressed. The two bonus outfits are the very desirable green Easter dress and the darling sun dress with matching bonnet. The green dress has 4 places in the folds that have split a little, but can only be seen when you pull the folds apart. I've shown a close-up of the worst split and a smaller one under that one for you to judge. The red and white sun dress is excellent, the bonnet's ribbon has a frayed area. A very nice grouping of early Alexander-kin items that you can have such fun with! Please take a look at all my other Alexander items this week.
