McGuffey Ana was a character from a children's story. She was brought to a child's eye with the McGuffey Ana dolls. A success in the marketing world. This is a 18" McGuffey Ana in her tagged original dress. She is in great condition and composition has no cracks or chipping, just lines. She is marked on her neck Princess Elizabeth, M Alexander. She has glassene eyes that have been stabilized. She is well strung to hold a pose. Her b...londe human hair braided wig is in original set braids. The right side braid is showing signs of hair loss. (a few wispy hairs on the photos look like lines on her face, check all photos ) She is very clean, no odors. She is wearing the original red checked cotton dress that is tagged. And slip with attached bloomers; White dimity cotton pinafore. She wears her original red side snap boots with little wear. She has her original straw hat. Her socks are hers but does have a few holes...I wanted to keep her all original. This is a great example of Madame Alexanders' McGuffey Ana. No doubt... a great doll for the collector. She is very fresh and an excellent example of collectable doll and no fading or aging. Great color and freshness. Her costume is worth the price of the doll. She is a played with doll and is sold "as is."
