Original Description:
Wonderful, original,  wood block print by well-known and respected Japanese artist Kiyoshi Saito, in the sosaku-hanga manner.  The subject is a beautiful woman facing left- possibly Maiko.  It is annotated with a (3) at the bottom margin, by the artist.  The work bears Saito's seal and is signed, in pencil, by the artist.  The colors of this impression are vibrant and lively.  The collar and top portion of what may be the obi are done in silver mica a...nd scintillate in a way that is impossible to capture in a photograph.  It should be noted that the work was self published by Saito.There is a gallery label attached to the board which was backing the print and matting with the original price ($700) and relevant information, including what appears to be a title, "Beauty Facing Left".  Please let us know if you would like this to accompany the print when shipping.  Please note that the print will be shipped via mailing tube (in our view the most secure way to ship) unless an alternative arrangement is desired and clearly communicated, e.g. flat shipping.  The print is guaranteed to be an original print work signed by Kiyoshi Saito. Measures: 17" x 11 1/4" Sheet  - 15 3/8" x 10" Image.
