1923 The Boston Cooking School Cook Book Fannie Merritt Farmer. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. I found this great old book at a thrift and collectable store and what an interesting book it is. It is filled with many old and unusual receipts and some really great old advertising ads in the back of the book. I have added photos of a portion of the advertisements. This book is about 96 years old so it definitely NOT in the greatest condition but for it’s age it’s doing fairly well. The... binding is worn and pulling away a bit at the top and bottom and the pages are yellow but the recipes are still clear and readable. There are also 2 recipes that have been carefully tucked into the pages by someone who must have treasured this book and the great old advertising in the back is so interesting to look at. What a treasure this would be for someone who collects cook books or just loves to cook. Even though it is not in the greatest condition it shows the many years of use with love that someone treasured. What I am assuming is the original owners name, address and date are written in the beginning of the book as well as a few reference page numbers for what I am assuming were treasured recipes.Selling as found so Please See All Photos and email me if yo have any questions.
