Here's a great example of an early Victor tabletop phonograph, made c.1906. Known as "Victor the Fifth".
The solid oak, quarter-sawed, "mission style" cabinet measures 16.5" x 16.5" x 7.5" high and is fitted with decorative corner posts.
Fitted with a large, nickel-plated 3-spring motor, 12" turntable, and an excellent Exhibition reproducer. Serial #27995 is indicated on t...he Victor nameplate. The turntable felt is new.
The later-made horn, by Don Gfell, is just perfect. The phonograph plays great, and turns many complete records between windings.
