The Art Nouveau spoon is in the pierced Tele pattern; it weighs a whopping 80g. The bowl is 2-3/8 inch wide and 3 inches long.
The spoon is hallmarked '830S NM' and with the 'bird on rock' Mylius Brodren symbol. NM stands for 'Norsk Monster', indicating a design patent or copyright. The exact age of the piece is unknown.
The piece is in very good antique condition. It po...lished up beautifully with some wear and scratches. The worst scratches are shown in the 7th & 8th photos, marked with green tape arrows: 1) a short diagonal scratch midway across front handle (zoom in to see) and 2) a swirl of shallow scratches on the lower back bowl.
