There are a number of Recommen...dations printed on the page opposite the title page, one of which states: "Surely the most original imaginative novel since Wells (H.G. Wells) was in his heyday...". Another said "A Real Mid-Night Oil Book". So real, you will forget it is a novel - a Wildfire in California. How it started, what happened, people's experiences. Very gripping.
There are 320 pages, all in Very Good Condition. There are some faint age spots around the edges of the first few and last few pages, as well as just a few on the outer page edges, visible when the book is closed. Otherwise, just the odd faint age spot or mark throughout. The Green Cover has held its colour well and there is only slight rubbing to the corners and edges. There is a small metal eyelet at the top of the spine intended for a ribbon marker, no longer present. There are the remains of a Boots Book Lovers sticker at the bottom of the front cover. The top page edges do have some age spotting but this is not visible when you open the book. Dimensions: 5.25 x 7.75 x just under 1.25 inches.
