Original Description:
This is a mid century brass glass chunk pendant light.  Don't have a history of knowledge about these, not sure if this was made this way or if someone modified a light to make these.  The light is a pendant light that hangs from the ceiling with a chain, no plug - hardwired to the outlet box.  Missing the mounting plate, but should fit a standard plate with a center threaded hole.  The light frame is made out of polished brass with the walls being chunky glass set ...in a brown/tan resin.  The chunks are glass, heavy lamp and the chunks are very sharp.  The chunks are a random size and color - multicolored.  The bottom of the lamp is open and has some slots that look like a mounting plate, maybe for converting to a table lamp.  The light is untested, but it is just a typical light socket with a positive and negative wire coming out of it, easy to swap out if needed.  Lights are in good condition, these have been in storage for a while so, there is dust build up on the glass chunks and the brass could be polished. Some of the resin is dripped on the surface of the rocks.  Really cool, impressive mid century art pieces.  The light fixture measures 16 1/4" tall, 5" wide and 5" deep.  Picture with fixture lit up is with the use of a flashlight.
