17½“ VINTAGE CHINESE POLYCHROME ENAMEL PORCELAIN
'FLOWERING GARDEN' FLOOR VASE
You are being offered a Vintage Chinese Polychrome Enamel Porcelain Floor Vase decorated with Hand Painted Multi-Colored Overglaze Enamels that feature a Bird perched on the Trunk of a Pine Tree that extends out over a Flowering Garden with a Trellis and Rockwork. The Vase doesn’t have any identifying marks, but we believe it was made during the Early People’s Republic Period prior to t...he Cultural Revolution, circa 1949-1966. The Vase stands 17½ inches high and it measures almost 9¼ inches in diameter at its widest point. There is a hairline that extends down vertically from its Rim, but it doesn’t penetrate the Overglaze Enamels on its Neck; otherwise, the Vase is in Very Good Condition, without any other cracks, chips, scratches or losses.
