‘DRAGON & PHOENIX BIRD’ TEAPOT
You are being offered a Vintage Chinese Polychrome Enamel Porcelain Cylinder shaped Teapot with a Domed and Pierced Lid along with Double, Wrapped Bamboo, Swing Handles and it is decorated in Overglaze Multi-Colored Enamels, with a Hand Painted Dragon on One Side and a Phoenix Bird on the Other Side along with Fire and Cloud Symbols and Gold Accents on Both Sides. We believe the Teapot was... made during the People’s Republic Period (Post-1949) and it has a “ST/Made in China” Factory or Brand Name Mark stamped in Black on its Bottom. The Teapot stands a little over 6¼ inches high to the Top of its Lid and 8½ inches high to its Handles in the Up Position and it measures 5¼ inches in diameter. Except for signs of wear on its Bamboo Handles, the Teapot is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, without any chips, cracks, scratches or repair.
