RARE Early Issue Nichols WW2 Fighting Knife With Original Scabbard. This knife has aged nicely and is in overall very good condition with minor flaws that can be seen in the images. The scabbard was made by Alfred Cornish in Omaha, Nebraska.This original scabbard is in good condition with some wear and tear that can be seen in the images. The retaining strap on the scabbard is broken(pictured). A full name is visible on the scabbard as well as on the cross guard and the names appe...ar to match. The name is "Norman H. Pollock" with his ID # being "259980"(pictured).The blade is full and straight. The knife handle has a Buffalo nickel on it, with "Nichols" engraved over the top. This is an indication that this is an early issue Floyd Nichols fighting knife.The leather piece attached to the knife is broken and has been stapled together in the middle.The condition of this knife has not changed since we received it.
