Chinese Hand Embroidered Silk Pillow Case Covers Hand-Sewn on original metal snaps for better secure hold.This is a set and will be sold together as a set of 2.This set was done by a chinese lady in China.She also would teach classes in her home to anyone that would pay her and have the patient to learn.When she would sell the silk items she would place them in a small white box with a note attached stating that she taught private embroidery classes.Through the years the box became tat...tered i tried to hold on to the note part of it so i really can't say if i have it tucked away or not. If you really take note of the photos you'll see 2 fighting cocks in each corner of the pillow cases.This set is a collectors dream and it is selling way below its valued price...and yes it is an antique and when i said new i meant i have never used them but they are in fact OLD! but was always kept to adore for the beauty of the art work which i would take them out to look at from time to time.when the box could no longer hold them i kept them in the linen closet for safe keeping.
