Original Description:
This bank isdesigned like a horse race.  The bank iscast iron with the horses made of tin. The base is about 3” high with the top portion representing the raceadding another 2”.  The horses withjockies stand about 1 ¼” high.  It has aslot for the coins on the top and there is a string-style pull to make thehorses race around the track.  On the topit reads: Patiented August 15, 1871.  Itappears to still have all its original paint.
