Original Description:
This is a matched set of antique Japanese traditional hair ornaments which would have been worn in the hair as jewellery possibly by Geisha.  This set is gold lacquer on wood and has the designs of flora fauna and water.  Some of the flora has Nashiji (gold sprinkles) to highlight them.  NOTE their is rubbing to the gold lacquer on the Kogai (two part pull apart hair pin) the Kushi (hair comb) is in good condition. Is presented in a silk lined lift off lidded box.  ...Dates to Meiji period 1868 - 1912.  For more information please see pictures.  Please note I only send my items insured and tracked.
