I've been collecting for over 55 years and it is now time to let most of my personal collection go. These uniform items were acquired many years ago. I am listing these items as collectibles. As such, the only size information given in the description are those marked on the items. The photos really tell the whole story so please review them carefully. I use the eBay Global Shipping Program and overseas shipping costs will be included with the invoice.All of the Japanese items I am listing are vet bring back items I acquired in the U.S while looking for USMC gear. Please make no mistake, this is really a been there cap that shows field use so expect that the item will show some wear and soiling from use. Please look at the photos carefully.Offered here is a WW2 Japanese Naval Landing Forces petty officer's field cap. The cap is made from a greenish khaki cotton/linen fabric. It is a well made cap and lined with the same type fabric fabric. The cap has four sewn holes in the back with a tie cord. The cap shows signs of use with some minor soiling along the bottom and on the sweatband. There is overall fading to the fabric and piping as well as some fraying to the black fabric stripes. The cap has a fabric chinstrap. There are two rows of black cotton tape sewn around the bottom of the cap. I believe it designates a petty officer's rank but I do not know for sure what that is. There is a Naval Landing Forces insignia sewn to the front of the cap and a fabric label inside the cap with what appears to be a name on it. I am not sure what more I can write that the photos do not show.I only use PayPal for payment unless other arrangements are made before you bid.
