Offered is this lot of vintage 1930's Boy Scout items that belonged to a former St. Louis area scout, Charles French. Items include the beautiful sash, 5 award cards dated 1935 (2) & 1936 (3), a canvas "Be Prepared" snap pouch with his initials, a wool cap (no patches, and some moth bites) a braided neckerchief slide and a shoulder cord. The sash is the highlight of this awesome ensemble featuring sixteen merit badges, 4 service pins, 2 ranks and some additional very de...sirable patches. Of the sixteen merit badges, fifteen are the very rare Type B patches. The sash looks great with super eye appeal. All of the patches were sewn very nicely. A unique addition are some of the corresponding award cards that make a great accompaniment to the sash. Below is a breakdown of the items on the sash:
