LeafletCatalogue Number #C20.
This information, like the Catalogue number...for this leaflet is taken from the book, SEEDS OF VICTORY, which catalogues andtranslates and gives notes on all Gulf War leaflets for collectors.
The most collectible leaflet of the Gulf War to many, and damn rare.
The colorized version of the “Tidal Wave” or“The Wave” as it is commonly known. This product is one of the more visuallyappealing PSYOP products of the war, and it is easily understood why thisleaflet was immediately sought after by U.S. Marines, mostly due to its obviousstyle of bravado in theme selection.
The reverse side of both of these products contained an identicallyworded, simplified series of surrender instructions for the individual Iraqicombatant to follow.

NOTES: The target audience is theIraqi military within Kuwait. There is a very explicit sense of fear from seaborne invasion and specifically in death from the U.S. Marines. Leaflet wasfirst requested for printing upon January the 7th, for a January the 11thdue date.
That date was the initiation of a sea borne bottle deliveryoperation where all 12, 000 color leaflets were stuffed into individual, emptyplastic water bottles and then floated along the occupied Kuwaiti coastline.
This is a highly artistic, and extremely rare leaflet.
Overseas rates are for paypal tracking requirements.
payment to be received within three days of auction end.
I have these in quantity because I was tapped into the PSYOP world during the Gulf War as I authored a text on the subject.
