Vintage Japanese Carp / Koi Bronze Vase Or Figurine - Ikebana

5 1/2" tall, vintage bronze figurine vase in the form of a leaping carp or koi. Its actual age is unknown, but this is a well made piece. Vases such as this one are popular for ikebana-- the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
This bronze fish is also cleverly designed to balance horizontally on 3 fins and the tail, so that it may be enjoyed as a nice sculpture when not being used as a vase.
This is an older piece of cast bronze and it has a repair to one of the fins, as sho...wn in my last photo. The repair was very well done (It looks like epoxy glue.) and the piece is again very strong.
CONDITION: No issues. One repair, as explained above.
