1) Antique German Stoneware Wine Bottle/Jug from the 1800's. Handmade Stoneware Bottle for Libframilch Wine. The jug itself is in great condition, a few marks and scratches but still in great condition for it's age. There is a chip out of the bottom corner (see photo). The markings on the jug that were intentionally ...put there say "Havemeyer Rheinperle". The jug is 11" high and 3" diameter.
2) Antique 1800's German Hessen Selzers Stoneware Bottle/Jug w/Salt Glaze
This is an antique handmade stoneware bottle circa 1800's,
These bottles were used to bottle the naturally carbonated spring water from the springs in the Hessen region of Germany. This water was called Selters, or seltzer.
Features the maker's logo on the side with the water source and location
(Gross-Karben) and the marking "No. 1" under the handle. Bottle is 11" high and 3.5" diameter.
3) Antique 1800's German Nausau Selzers Stoneware Bottle/Jug w/Salt Glaze
This is an Antique handmade stoneware bottle circa 1800's.
These bottles were used to bottle the naturally carbonated spring water from the springs in the Nassau region of Germany. This water was called Selters, or seltzer.
Features the Nassau Selters logo on the side with the Imperial eagle
and the makers initials and number under the handle,
Bottle is 11" high and 3.5" diameter.
