VINTAGE Vogue Ginny Dolls & Parts For Repair And To Love

Perhaps you are just the one who can make these two sweet, hardplastic, 8” Ginny dolls complete again!The browner Ginny doll is a molded lash, straight leg, head-turning walker and is marked ‘GINNY/VOGUE DOLLS/ INC/PAT NO (#s are tootiny for my old eyes to read)/MADE IN THE USA.’ The reference I checked states that this Ginny doll was made from1955-1957.  With her coloring, I wonderif she was produced as an Indian or other darker-skinned child.  She has blue e...yes that need help opening and closing and lightblush on her cheeks.  Herhead-turning/walking mechanism works smoothly (with a little squeak—is thisnormal?).  As you can see, she has losther hair—the fibers that remain indicate that she was originally abrunette.  Her seams have not opened andthere are no cracks in the plastic and no stains other than a couple of small, darker brown areas on the outside of each eye—perhaps they will clean off.  She is missing her arms.The pinker Ginny doll is a molded lash, bent knee, head-turningwalker and is marked ‘GINNY/VOGUE DOLLS/ INC/PAT NO (#s are too tiny for my oldeyes to read)/MADE IN THE USA.’  Thereference I checked states that this Ginny doll was made from 1957-1962.  She has blue eyes that open and close freely on their own and willeven flutter at you with a shake!  Thereis very faint, or no blush on her cheeks. Her head-turning/walking mechanism works smoothly (with a littlesqueak—is this normal?), but you have to support her back with your fingers orher torso falls forward.  As you can see, she has bald areas in her brunette hair which may have been cut.  Her seams have not opened and there are nocracks in the plastic and no stains.  Sheis missing her arms and needs a cleaning.*** Thesedolls came to me through an ebay purchase.  I have a smoke free home and Ido not smell unpleasant odors on them, but I cannot guarantee what environmentthey came from.  ***I do combine shipment on multiple wins of my other auctions to save onshipping.
