this is a catalogue of the birds in the museum of the hon.east-india company.by Thomas horsfield, keeper of the company's museum and Frederic moore assistant.1858 first edition with vol one 1854 bound together with volume two 1856-8.volume one has 451p/p, volume two 301p/p hence 752p/p with an 11p/p index at the rear.this book is an ex library copy but it is over 160 year's old and in realy nice condition despite this.this indian ornithology book is extremely rare there are no ot...her copies available anywhere on the planet as far as I can see, so one for the serious collector of bird books to do with india and the surrounding region.what's it worth I don't know as there are no compareable books to check, hence I have set what I believe to be a fair price for this extremely rare work.thanks for viewing my listing.
