This is a lovely antique , larger size hand painted Limoges squared 8 sided serving bowl/ dish. I believe this is a early piece from the late 1800’s and probably a rare piece especially because of its shape. The piece is marked on the bottom and has wonderfully Hand painted pink ivy geranium floral bouquet scenes on the inside and outside of the bowl. On two sides of the inside of the bowl there is some gold gilt Rococo swag decorations that are a bit raised in the pattern. This piec...e is in wonderful useable vintage condition with minimal signs of wear for it age with no chips, nicks or cracks..no grazing and the hand painted flower vines are in great shape also ..I think it might of had a gold gilt rim but I think after a century it worn off ...please refer to the pictures. This wonderful bowl measures 10 inches from corner to corner and 8 inches across and is 4 inches tall. I have to say I thinks it’s in great shape for such a long life .thanks for looking.
