Antique 1870 Oxford University Press King James Side Column Reference Bible bound in Black Leather hardcover. Bible is in fair condition with average wear consistent for the age. The cover shows moderate wear including rubbing along the edges and hinge wear, but no splitting. The binding is a little loose, and there are a couple of places between pages toward the back of the Bible (Timothy and I John) where the binding has slightly separated, although the pages are mostly intact. There... is significant foxing on the front (2) index pages and cover page, as well as the rear index pages. The rest of the pages in between seem to be, for the most part, fox-free. Original owner's information written in black ink on front cover page. No other markings throughout and no other major problems. Measures approx. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 1 3/4".
