This listing is for a Very Rare Jensen Model Q Field Coil Tweeter for Western Electric Theater System. This tweeter is from the 1930's and is in very nice condition and if you are looking at this tweeter you probably know about them and know how rare they are and hard to find they are. I was not able to test this particular model Q for sound because I do not have the proper power supply for the field coil. But the tweeter was tested with an ohm meter and tested great the DCR ...for the 16 ohm voice coil measured 13.2 and then the field coil measured at about 3600 ohms and the readings were at what they should be on a good working Jensen model Q
Cosmetically the tweeter is in very nice condition and especially for its age and can be seen in the pictures
Due to age and the model Q not being fully tested it is being Sold AS IS and for parts and repair and is therefore not returnable
I would prefer Local pickup but there would be no problem with shipping it and I am very familiar with shipping large items as this not only in the USA but also internationally.
The buyer pays for shipping and handling/packing, there is a small international paperwork preparation fee of $50 per package for items being shipped outside of the USA.
