The clock has a unusual balloon rococo shape design which has a fantastic display look to it, the case has a beautiful mahogany veneer with the most wonderful colour and patina to it that displays amazingly. On each side of the case their is a finely cut fretwork panel with material behind them. The case has a glazed brass bezel to protect the dial and a bottom hinged back door with a lock and keyThe Clock Measures - 15 inches high x 7 inches wide x 5.25 inches deepDialThe clock has a 4.5 inch diameter painted dial with Roman numerals and original moon hands, the dial is in good condition for age but has a couple of touch ups which you can see when up really close but on display are hardly noticeable.
