This offering is for an all original, Ca 1960's, Smith Corona Classic Sterling Manual Portable Typewriter. Included for you to view as our second image is an example of the typing. Please note that the ribbon still has quite a bit of life left in it but will need to replaced soon if you plan on using it very much. When needed the ribbons are also readily available on eBay, on-line and at stationary supply stores at very nominal prices. The serial number 5AX 139484 indicates a manufactu...re date of 1963. The machine is very clean and it types beautifully and quite easily. The machine is marked "SCM and SMITH CORONA" behind the platen and "STERLING" above the keys. The typewriters keys are perfect and the paint is in wonderful condition with little if any wear. The colors are a beautiful pale green with white keys that makes for a wonderful combination that's easy on the eyes. The names and markings are all in excellent condition and the original case and key are included. The case has only very minor wear, is very solid and serves it's purpose perfectly. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 50.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
