         VINTAGE PLAID LITHO TIN BASKET WITH WOODEN HANDLES
THESE OLD TINS WERE POPULAR IN THE 1930-40'S EARLY 50'S.OFTEN STARTED OUT LIFE HOLDING COOKIES THEY BECOME POPLAR LUNCH TINSAND PICNIC BASKETS AND GREAT CATCH ALLS.
THIS TIN BASKET SITS 7 3/4 INCHES HIGH AT THE LID AND 12 INCHES HIGH TO THE HANDLES WHEN UPRIGHT.IT IS 13 3/4 INCHES LONG AND 9 1/2 INCHES WIDE.WELL USED IN THE PAST - TIN HAS SOME DINGS AND DENTS .THE LID IS DENTED. SOME LIGHT SURFAC...E RUST.HANDLES INTACT AND MOVE TO THE SIDES.
THE LAST PHOTO IS FROM COUNTRY HOME MAGAZINE AND SHOWS THESE OLD TINS STACKED.GREAT STORAGE AND DISPLAY BOXES.
