Original Description:
A VERY RARE and FINE PAIR of Whieldon pottery figures of a cat and dog, C.1780/90. Staffordshire English creamware. It is quite rare to see these early figures, and very RARE to get a PAIR. One femail, and the other male. Sizes, 3 1/2 ins high.CONDITION :- EXCELLENT, with no damage or restoration. All you will see from my very close-up photos is a bit of a line glaze missing. Under the bases are firing faults and glaze missing again.
