Rare Japanese Vintage Cold Steel Master Tanto VG-1 Stainless Model 13BN.
This is a collector grade knife in excellent unused condition. This is the best and most sought after of the Cold Steel Tantos.
This is the Master Tanto not to be confused with the regular Tanto made by Cold Steel. The Master Tanto has a VG-1 San Mai Laminated steel blade where the Tanto is just Aus-8a steel.
This is the Stainless version which is superior to the brass version because the b...rass constantly tarnishes. The stainless is easy to keep beautiful.
This particular knife has the VG-1 Stamped on the blade. Many of the other Master Tanto knives do not.
This knife was made in Japan and discontinued, the new knives are now made in Taiwan.
If you are a Cold Steel collector and you do not have this particular model then this is the knife for you. Or if you are new to Cold Steel knives then this is the best ever made.
Comes with leather sheath also in excellent condition, and box. Box does show signs of handling.
