This is a very rare and excellent condition hen Widgeon decoy by the Gundelfinger Decoy Factory of Jefferson City, Missouri circa 1920's. This is Gundelfingers Grand Prix glass eye model and it is in very good original condition and paint. This beautiful hen Widgeon/wigeon is extremely hard to find especially in this original condition. The decoy is approximately 14 1/2" long, 4 1/2" wide and 6 1/4" tall. Don't miss out on your chance to own this rare old factor...y decoy. Please check out my other auctions and keep checking back as I will be selling lots of old decoys in the coming months. Shipping cost stated is for the lower 48 states. I would be happy to combine shipping cost for multiple wins for US bidders. I will sell and ship internationally via ebays global shipping program. Good Luck! On Oct-21-19 at 09:22:27 PDT, seller added the following information:This is not a hollow decoy! I missed that correction when I listed the decoy and it wont let me change the box for 'hollow'. A bidder has mentioned that it is also possible that this may be a pintail hen instead of a widgeon hen. Ken Trayers book 'North American Decoys' has a photo of an identical decoy identified as a widgeon. That being said I do not disagree with the bidder. The speculum and bill color would also suggest a pintail hen to me. I will let the buyer be the judge. Thanks for your interest.
