Melbourne Olympic Games 1956 Dutch team Patch. Embroidered patch. Extremely rare item as the Netherlands boycotted the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics because of the Soviet Union's invasion of Hungary. Just a few athletes travelled to Australia but were called back. The patch is unused as you can see in the pictures. The small sticker states it has a legal patent. It measures approx. 8 x 9 cm. This patch (together with some other items which you can see in one of the pictures) bel...onged to one of them few athletes. This auction is just for the patch not for any of the other items in the group items picture. So just the 1956 Dutch team patch.
