Rare MACKENZIE-CHILDS Large Courtly Check Hanging Magnetic Note Board +4 Magnets Beautiful rare, discontinued piece by Mackenzie-Childs. This is a large 21" X 16"hanging magnetic note or message board with 4 authentic vintage Mackenzie-ChildsWhite Flower Market small plate-shaped magnets. The board is a relatively substantial & heavy magnetic metal which is hand-painted in a highly enameled "Courtly Check"pattern with a burgundy red leather-like border riveted all around ...the perimeter with floral decorative brass or bronze rivets. It can be used lying flat on a desk as a deskblotter or hung as it was intended either lengthwise or widthwise as can be seen bythe brackets attached to the back in photos #9-10. The 4 magnets are in White FlowerMarket pattern as stated above, they measure 2" wide and are all in absolutely excellent condition. The only sign of any previous use on the actual board is a tiny scuff in theleather border at the bottom as shown in photo #11.
