Kuramochi Japan Celluloid Elephant & Clowns Wind-up Toy in working condition. These toys are often non-functional or are missing ears or t...he clown on the back. This one is complete and functional, although the key is missing. There appears to have been a small repair do the left ear connecting rod as celluloid is quite fragile and it probably broke at some point in the distant past. I was thinking of matching the color of the celluloid and painting over the glue to improve the appearance, but I unfortunately don't have the time. There's also a tiny piece of celluloid missing around the key hole. Other than that, this toy is remarkably well preserved given how fragile and old it is. The colors are still very nice.
