Tonight I have a vintage Japanese toy robot from my personal collection.Here we have Mr Robot, the Mechanical Brain made in Japan by Alps circa 1955.A very early Japanese all tin robot which stands 23 cms tall & incorporates both wind-up and battery operated mechanisms...wind him up to walk and place a battery in his head and his glass hands light up as he walks.All original and working BUT at some point he has had some touch up paint applied to his knees and possibly his eyes...co...smetically the toy is in very good condition, with some evidence of play wear and age related wear. It comes with its original box in good condition also albeit with the usual punches to the lid face caused by the wind up key poking through.Also included is the original instruction leaflet and one box insert. .See the scans which are indicative of the condition.
