BE STILL MY HEART!beautiful ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA vase14 inches to top of lady's headmade in time frame 1860~1918simply amazing is this old vase, marked on bottom, see photos, with the famous pink triangle.i love the slightly muted colors the vase radiates, warm soft hues, embossed raised lily's and the sweet simplicity look of innocence on the maidens face.the vase does have a few flaws, there is a hairline, that i have shown in the photos, (with xx's) it is all connected. also if one is... to run their finger along the back side of the vase's rim it is a little rough (possibly one or two very small chips) but consistent along the entire edge. At one time there may have been a gold edging as i think i see a few places on edge that almost look a little gold. looking down into the inside of the vase, it almost looks dirty in the bottom, tried wiping out, i think at one time someone may have put some green floral star foam into the vase, but has since been removed. overall, i still feel the vase is in very good condition. most of the flaws i mention above i consider very minor and common flaws for pieces this old.if you like ART NOUVEAU ...this is truly a beautiful example of days gone by!questions or comments are always a welcome and we thank YOU for your interest! ~ Carolshipping costs does reflect cost of insurance to protect your investment. will be packed with much care and thought to items fragility.
