HEAVY VINTAGE REEL FRENCH BRONZE V.FINE METAL METALLIC WIRE THREAD 250g 10oz ... Click images to enlarge Description This is a heavy vintage French reel of fine bronze coloured metal wire/thread from France.It came from a factory in France that closed down. It dates to somewhere around the 1950s/1960s.It is a very fine but strong, pliable wire, I assume it is the type of thread used for couching/goldwork, the reel measures about 6 cms/2.25" tall and weighs about 250g/10oz. It is in good condition, minor storage wear to the outer layer of plate. Thank you for looking.
