DRAKES 1860 Plantation BITTERS Cabin, Yel AMBER w/OLIVE TONES Short 9-1/2" SIZEThis is a 6 log version with absolutely tons of crudity for character, has a cool looking slight lean front to back.Also, this Drakes has a noticeably shorter collar and neck than most which makes its look somewhat stubby when displayed up next to a normal 10 inch height Drakes.Height is exactly 9-1/2 inches, about 3 inches wide, and 3 inches in depth.The base shows the marks of an early diag...onal hinge mold with 2 raised centered dots in the middle of the concave base.It is a very clear light golden yellow amber with some hint of olive tone. Color is subjective so please look at the pictures taken in natural sunlight and some pictures taken with inside lighting. I welcome any and all questions prior to bidding. Color on this one is really hard to describe with words, so please see all pictures provided !!!Now, here is a picture comparison against a bottle of Hy-Vee apple cider vinegar which is pretty darn close: Embossed on the front sloping side of the roof - ST DRAKES 1860 PLANTATION X BITTERS - and PATENTED 1862 on the reverse side.I believe this is the D-108 variant.I've had it since 2000 when it was bought off another collector.It is a real beauty to behold when backlit.Many of your normal manufacturing flaws such as straw marks, bulged panels, twists, streaks, glass imperfections, bubbles - all quite typical of the fabrication techniques of the day, crude drippy/gloppy applied top, virtually no high point wear, has one white gooey swirled potstone located on the PATENTED 1862 side in the 6 logs above the label panel, but has ZERO radiations.Pretty good strike on the lettering and the log cabin detail, maybe a little light on the ST above DRAKES.Absolutely no damage, its near mint and I don't say that about many bottles. Beautifully clean shiny glass on the outside, some minor scaly original content residue inside that will come out.Its FULLY GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC and AS DESCRIBED, absolutely NO Distractions at all. Just a great addition to ANY bitters bottle collection especially when trying to complete a color run - you won't find one any nicer for condition !!!
